We are important
every group in the EU GREEN alliance is valued. Our students, staff, researchers and regions are integral to creating lasting change.
We believe in developing society's strengths, capabilities, opportunities and cooperation for a better and sustainable environment.
We are committed to a fairer model based on the concept of distributed excellence.

Benefits for students
Your studies, connected throughout Europe.
The EU GREEN Alliance connects nine European universities and gives students the opportunity to learn, research and develop sustainable solutions for the future together across borders.
But what does that mean specifically for students?
At the heart of the alliance is a commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and European cooperation. This results in innovative study programs such as blended intensive programs (BIPs), international exchange programs and new master's degree programs. These offers not only provide specialist knowledge, but also promote intercultural competencies and hands-on learning.
In addition, students are actively involved: they can participate in projects for a sustainable and inclusive campus, implement new ideas in innovation and start-up programs, and benefit from a modern digital infrastructure that enables learning and collaboration with fellow students from all over Europe.
Studying within the EU GREEN Alliance is therefore much more than acquiring a degree; it is an opportunity to become part of a European community that focuses on sustainability, innovation and social responsibility and enables students to actively shape the future.

Benefits for the region
More than just an academic initiative.
The major social challenges of our time, such as climate change, social justice, and sustainable development, cannot be overcome alone. As a strong European university alliance, the EU GREEN Alliance brings together nine public institutions from different countries, connecting not only universities but entire regions. But what does this mean for the region in figures?
At the heart of the EU GREEN Alliance is a clear commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Cooperation leads to projects, educational opportunities, and research initiatives that directly target sustainable development in the region and aim to shape it together with the community. Thanks to EU funding, this idea of the EU GREEN Alliance can be realised and give sustainable citizen projects within the region a chance.
Participating in the EU GREEN Alliance is much more than an academic initiative, it is an opportunity for the region to position itself as a sustainable, future-oriented, and internationally competitive hub.
