Kiplin Challenge 2026

The Kiplin Challenge is entering its third round.

What is the Kiplin Challenge?

Once again, the University of Magdeburg is organising a joint step-counting campaign with all partner universities in the European EU GREEN alliance. Together and competing against one another, members of universities from nine European countries are aiming to collect as many steps as possible in their daily lives. Staff and students are encouraged to be active together while walking, on their way to university, on campus and when shopping. With the help of the app, you can join the Kiplin Challenge Community and have the chance to see how your fellow participants are doing or share your own experiences with others.

This year's Kiplin Challenge is done. On 1 June, the most successful teams and individuals in the Challenge will be honoured! We would like to thank all participants and look forward to the next Challenge with you.

Anyone interested is warmly invited to the victory ceremony. During the event, the baton will be officially handed over to the Academic Bicycle Challenge (ABC), which kicks off on the same day with a major event.

Victory Ceremony: 1 June 2026 - 12:30 pm - OVGU in front of the canteen.
